Postdoctoroal Researcher
Anthony Ramnauth, PhD
PhD in Neuroscience from John Hopkins University. His research interests are using high-throughput multiplexed small molecular fluorescent in situ hybridization (smFISH) to understand cell type heterogeneity in neurodevelopment and the adult brain across species and using these data in parallel with other experimental data such as histology and single-cell ‘omics’ to evaluate the biological contexts of psychiatric disease risk.
Assistant Research Scientist
Madeline Mariani, B.A
Graduated class of 2022 from Columbia University with a degree in Neuroscience and Behavior. Madeline joined the lab during her junior year at Columbia and upon graduation began a full-time position as an RA. Her future ambitions include attending medical school and bringing positive contributions to the clinical field at large.
Assistant Research Scientist
Alexandra Mukami Wamalwa, B.A
Graduated class of 2021 from Ohio Wesleyan University with a degree in Molecular and Cellular Neuroscience. Her interests in neurodegenerative and psychiatric disorders led her to the RA position in the Boldrini lab. Future aims include pursuing a PhD to continue studies in neuropathology.

Assistant Research Scientist
Siddhartha Chappidi, M.S
Graduated with an M.S in Data Science from SUNY Albany in 2023. Aspires to solve real-world problems using Machine Learning (Computer vision, Natural Language Processing) and Deep Learning. Pursued the Boldrini Lab RA position due to the cutting-edge quantitative neuroscience methods and to understand how the brain functions.
Assistant Research Scientist
Masoome Rezaei, M.S
Graduated with an M.S in biomedical engineering from Columbia University.
Assistant Research Scientist
Rakshitha Ramkumar, M.A
Possessing a master’s degree in biotechnology from Columbia University and a passion for unraveling the complexities of neuropathology. While participating in the investigation of Alzheimer’s Disease during postgraduate studies, Rakshitha ignited a profound interest in cognitive research, behavioral studies, and neurogenesis. Joining the Boldrini Lab presented the opportunity to delve into research endeavors concentrated on exploring the molecular mechanisms governing cell viability and functionality within the human brain, with a particular emphasis on employing cutting-edge techniques such as single-cell and spatial multiome sequencing.
PhD Student
Cheik Sissoko
PhD candidate at the University of Cincinnati - College of Engineering and Applied Science.
Pursuing a passion for biomedical engineering and applying knowledge and skills in cell biology, biochemistry, and laboratory techniques to advance the field of human health and wellness.
