Maura Boldrini Dupont, M.D, Ph.D.
Maura Boldrini Dupont, MD, PhD, is a Professor of Psychiatry and Director of the Quantitative Brain Biology (Brain QUANT) Institute and the Human Neurobiology Laboratory in the Department of Psychiatry at the Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons, Columbia University Irving Medical Center, and the New York State Psychiatric Institute. Her research focuses on understanding the underlying mechanisms of behavioral, cognitive, and emotional changes associated with brain diseases.
Our Mission
We use single-cell and spatial multi-omics, combined with whole-genome sequencing, to study normal brain aging, Alzheimer’s disease, depression and suicide, and COVID-related brain changes. Our research focuses on brain plasticity and regeneration, with the goal of discovering new treatments for brain diseases.
